A Playmobil battle about to commence
Thanks for all the great project suggestions. I am looking into several of them. I love the idea of candlemaking…we've never that and we don't have to fake power outages here (as one of my readers does- for fun!) We are tucked into a cozy little valley and lose our power at least once a year. Click here to read about our adventures without electricity in Novemeber 2007. It was a crazy couple of days!
Hezekiah (6) has been a Cub Scout maniac. He pretty much wants to work on Cub Scout stuff all day every day…with a few lego projects thrown in.

I'm so very proud of these two…November is National Adoption Month and here are two of my adopted children. Two special needs, hard to place children. Two children who would grow up in foster care if not for the wonderful gift of adoption. I have friends in Australia, and apparently adoptions almost never take place over there. The most they can hope for is guardianship…keep up the good work Shae and Kylie, you two are awesome!
Avi was playing with this geoboard and I asked if she could figure out how to write her name. And she did. It was backward, but hey, its nearly a miracle to have her sit still to focus on any project. She put the hyper in hyperactivity
And Mordecai, not to be outdone, decided to make his name too!
