Bowling with the Cub Scouts

Yesterday I had the joy of taking Hezekiah (7) and Tucker (6) bowling with our Wolf Den. Strictly speaking, Tucker shouldn’t be there…he’s not a Scout yet, but I’ve been taking him along all year…I’m the unofficial (but desperately needed) co-leader and second adult and it’s one of the few perks of the job :)

This was the first time bowling for several of the boys (mine included). As you can see, they were all quite engaged.

Hezekiah would want you to know he came in third place with a score of 94.

Tucker choosing his ball and checking his score. For those of you who don’t know Tucker, he’s a scrappy little thing…very competive, fearless and a little on the hyper side. In short: completely opposite of his deep thinking brother, Hezekiah.

He  threw himself into bowling like he’d been doing it all his life. He would want you to know he came in second place…with a score of 104!

And that, my friends, is the story of bowling with the Cub Scouts.

{Tomorrow Apollo will be 4 weeks post-surgery, and I will have an update for you. Happy Tuesday. It’s good to be back!}
