{Yes, of course, I am in New Zealand, but I will be getting caught up on some events I haven’t written about yet. New Zealand photos and posts to follow.}

This weekend Enoch starred as Romeo in the community college performance of Romeo, You Idiot!

Unfortunately for me, opening night was the day Jubilee and I left for New Zealand. On the bright side, Enoch got permission for me to attend the final dress rehearsal. And since it was a rehearsal, I was able to take photos. Enoch was fantastic in his performance in Romeo, You Idiot!

Enoch did an incredible job as Romeo. He was full of enthusiasm and emotion. I suppose when I watch my own kids on stage I start to understand a bit about how other parents must feel watching their kids play sportsEnoch was fantastic in his performance in Romeo, You Idiot!

This isn’t Enoch’s first time on stage.

Enoch was the Hare in Missoula Children’s Theater The Tortoise Vs. the Hare and he was the Sheriff of Nottingham in Missoula Children’s Theater Robin Hood.

And while were on the topic of Enoch, my non-traditional student has taken all of his focus and drive and turned it toward school and work.

Enoch has completed his Eagle Scout project and is working on his Eagle Scout Rank.

He works at the college he attends, is taking a full-load of classes in addition to one final homeschool math class.

He is busy applying for scholarships and looking into universities.

I am a firm believer in delaying formal education and, well, the proof is in the pudding as they say.

We are so proud of you, Enoch! Keep up the good work.
