Five Guys Burger and Fries with a Large Family

posted in: Large Family | 2

After our big trip to visit Jubilee and Hezekiah at summer camp we stopped by Five Guys Burger and Fries for dinner.

Chuck works in construction which means when the construction industry is hot, so is my husband is busy. He has been working approximately 4,732.8 hours a week lately, Monday-Saturday.  So while I was planning to put dinner in the crockpot so it would be ready when we got home, Chuck said, “No, I’ve been working a ton of overtime lately and I want to take the kids to Five Guys for dinner on the way home”.

I can tell you he got no pushback from me on this one. Large family at Five Guys Burger and Fries.

You can see how excited my husband is as I document our trip to Five Guys. Either that or he just realized how much it costs to take four kids and two adults out to dinner….kidding! He has what my SIL calls a “resting mad face”. I promise you he was neither mad nor shocked. He was just...resting.

My kids loved the beverage machine at Five Guys. Who needs arcade games when you’ve got these babies?

Seven year old bites into HUGE burger at Five Guys.Um…Apollo kind of loved his hamburger. This image was not posed. I had my camera ready to capture his first bite…and this is what I got! This boy, who used not be able to eat more than a single bite, devoured his burger. All that was left when he finished was a small sliver of bun…

Who doesn't love a restaurant that serves peanuts in the shell. Five Guys.

Sunday afternoon we go back to pick the kids up from camp. I can hardly wait.

I just hope Finley’s shoes last until then…

  1. That picture of Apollo!!!! Love it! And I love Five Guys, but I usually go there when my kids are in school so I’m only buying for 1 person (or 2 if Eric meets me for lunch) instead of 5.
