How did you spend Mother’s Day? We went to church in the morning (after I opened my amazing handmade gifts from my kids). Seriously, I think this is the best part of sending my kids to school is the handmade cards, poems and picture frames, etc. Oh, and I got chocolate from my homeschool teens. They know and love me well.
Then? Then we went to Greg and Merriann’s house to work on product reviews for Large Family Reviews. Isn’t that what most moms do on their “special day”? Make YouTube videos?
Thankfully, between our two families we pretty much have the cutest kids ever. This makes spending the day together just pure awesomeness. And we usually end up eating two meals together…because our visits last a long time. Like, until way past bedtime. We have even been known to spend half the day at our house…then have the day at theirs.
Oh, and Greg and Merriann have a pool, which my kids are willing to swim in no matter the outside temperature. Goofballs…yesterday was the coldest day of week, but my that didn’t stop my kids from diving (figuratively) right in. Spring swimming? Why not. These are hearty kids from the Pacific Northwest. The cold doesn’t bother them anyway.[Sorry about that. I really hate that movie, and I’ve only seen it once. Once was WAY more than enough for me. ]
I can’t stop taking pictures of baby Ella…because seriously, just look at that face!!!
Yes, this is how we keep them happy between shoots…we ply them with ice cream. And cupcakes! Leftover from Hezekiah’s birthday party.
Sunshine may make Charlotte happy…but being told no to a second cupcake makes her SAD. And a little bit angry.
Sweet little Abby, is pretty much the opposite of Spicy Charlotte. And we love them both.
I hope you had a great weekend and I can’t wait to post our new reviews!
