Yesterday was beautiful Tilly’s 14th birthday! Tilly was born one Sunday morning in a beautiful, gentle homebirth. Everything went perfectly and she was born bald, squalling, chubby and pink. At the time we lived in a one bedroom suite (with three kids)! Adalia was two and a half and Judah had just turned one. She was a dream baby. She nursed well, slept with us and was always happy.
Along with celebrating Tilly’s birthday, we also have Chuck’s brother, his wife and their five children visiting. We are having a grand time. Last time they visited, Apollo was a miserable newborn. Now he’s a curly-haired toddler and Derek and Tara have their own baby (Elli, who just turned a year).
With the most recent news about Apollo we are doing some real soul-searching, researching, praying and talking…trying to decide what is best for him and the rest of the family. Impossible decisions it seems. We’d appreciate any prayers and thoughts you have to send our way.

Praying that you will hear God’s leading and then following your decision, never question yourself as God never leads wrong. sometimes when we make big decisions, its hard to not question. But I believe that if we are following God, praying and asking him to lead us, we cannot be wrong. That is the best we can do in life, and be strong in our Faith. These are huge decisions, I cannot pretend to comprehend the enormity of what you have before you, but my prayers will be with you daily.
I am bringing you (and family) before the Father every time I think of you. And I will continue to do so!
Renee, I think of you and your family ~ and specifically Apollo ~ often, and pray for you as well. Many in my circle of friends here in AZ know his story, and I will ask them to be praying for you/him in these current circumstances. May our Abba Father’s wisdom be yours in abundance, and may He guide you Himself through these difficult waters. From what I read in your blogs, Renee, (and what I remember of you when I lived in B’ham) you and Chuck are wonderful parents, doing a great job advocating for Apollo, and giving him the best you have available. Praying for a miracle for him! XOXO ~ Camee P.
1 Corinthians 1:25
“For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength.” … Praying for God’s wisdom and power to be put on full display!!
Psalm 105:4
“Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.” … Praying Jesus fills you with His strength daily, and that His face is ever before you to comfort and speak peace amidst the storm.
Happy Birthday Tilly!
Tilly is so pretty.
