Our homeschooling this year has been, how shall we say it, less than inspiring. It’s been sit down and do your workbook. Fill in that blank. Memorize those facts. Ad nauseum. It’s not my style at all. Avi and Tucker haven’t been getting the kind of attention they need during school and that has naturally led to mischief. I know it exactly why it’s happened…I’m running on very little sleep and have a very needy toddler. Life is busy. But I hate the lack of oomph in our home school, so I jumped at the chance to write a sponsored post for Leap Frog Summer Camp. It is just what I am looking for to add a little fun with minimal prep on my part.
So what exactly is Leap Frog Summer Camp? It’s a program full of summer activities for you child. You can check out week one here. I printed out several activities for Avi and Tucker today and they completely enjoyed them. I love that the planning is done for me. I can pick or choose whatever works out for us on a given day or week.
Tucker loved the graph we did about what people’s favorite vehicles are (we were supposed to track vehicles in the neighborhood…but since we don’t live in one we improvised). He was running around practically giddy with excitement (especially when motorcycle won out as favorite!)
Avi and Tucker both enjoyed this word search (not part of the Summer Camp program, but one of the Leap Frog activities). I was so impressed with Tucker…he needed help reading herbivore, but then figured out carnivore on his own!
Once upon a time this blog was full of fun preschool activities…I have wanted to get back to that for my little ones and I am confident Leap Frog Summer Camp is going to help me accomplish that. I am looking forward to doing these activities and sharing them with you in an upcoming post!
This post is sponsored by LeapFrog. I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective, and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

I love the b/w pic of Avi twirling her curls around her finger in concentration!
Oh, what a fun-looking course! It makes me wish I had preschoolers again. Thanks for sharing. I linked to it on my Facebook.
Enjoyed seeing photos of your former youngest children. :0)
